The Museum of American Political Life displays a collection of political campaign materials and objects from George Washington to the present. Admission is by donation.
The museum is located in the restored 18th-century birthplace and childhood home of Noah Webster, the creator of the first American dictionary and “Blue-Backed Speller”, a teacher, lawyer and early abolitionist. It is also the site of the Town's historical society. The house is open to the public and provides numerous workshops, special events, exhibits, and youth programs throughout the year.
